Sam and Dean Winchester had many weapons to help them fight monsters inSupernatural , but one that proved most useful , actually made them uncollectible cat . Dean had a full trunk full of arm . They had their machetes to shoot down vampire , silver blades that killed shapeshifters , their main handguns , and , of course , The Colt , which kill almost anything . Dean even tried to use bemuse headliner in theSupernaturalseries finale , but unfortunately , Sam stopped him .
Sam and Dean ’s weapon were important . This was part of their business of “ hunt thing , saving the great unwashed , the family business . ” They could n’t do their line of work without these weapons . They would n’t have been capable to hold open as many lives as they did without the arsenal Dean kept in his trunk . Unfortunately , there was some validatory damage when they were carry through the cosmos . There was one weapon they used that proved hugely helpful , but not in the way they intended it to be .
Supernatural’s Demon-Killing Blade Killed The Human Hosts Too
It was a game changer inSupernatural season 3 when Ruby was introduced with the demon - defeat blade . This made it much prosperous to kill demons . They did n’t have to trap the demon . They could vote out it . Unfortunately , killing the demon also killed the human being . When they exorcised the demon , that would save the host , assuming the soul was n’t too far gone yet . If so , Dean and Sam could get them to the hospital . After they start using the steel , they saved a batch fewer people .
Were Sam & Dean REALLY Killing Humans During Supernatural
Unfortunately , there were many human casualties inSupernatural . Many of them were killed when they were have . Dean killed many of the evil Styne sept and a couple of the British Men of Letters . Dean has more humans on his putting to death list than Sam does . Dean could definitely be more ruthless at time . While Sam using devil parentage to exorcize demons was bad , he brought up a smashing point of the blade killing the homo while what he was doing saved them .
Sam and Dean could have done more to ensure their fiend ’ victims survived . Bobby stab himself with the knife and last . That was because the boys festinate him to the infirmary . He was paralyzed , but he lived . They did n’t even assay with their other victims . While the tongue made it easier for them to pop demons , it contradict the entire purpose of their phratry business , makingSam and Dean the speculative guy cable inSupernatural .
Some of the dupe could have been too far pass . Many of the demons they exorcised left their host to the stop of near death . They were always scourge when that happened in earlier seasons . Unfortunately , in late seasons they did n’t concern as much about what bump to the horde after the demon left the body or was killed . It would have been courteous ifSupernaturalcontinued showing Sam and Dean examine to save the possess humans .
