Better Call Saul

Better Call Saulhas in conclusion come to an close , and it was a wild drive that both tied into the upshot ofBreaking Badand transgress down the consequence of Heisenberg , too . The tailspin - off prequel series could n’t have done that without some amazing cameo from originalBreaking Badcharacters , whether it was Hank , Steve Gomez , or even Marie unexpectedly appearing in the finale .

However , there were also some glaring omissions . Whether it ’s Patrick Kuby , any other member of the White family , or the best hitmen west of the Mississippi , these character could have boast in some capacity . And while not all of them had any reason to appear , it would have been decent to see them one last time before the franchise seemingly ended for good .

Patrick Kuby

Patrick Kuby ( Bill Burr ) wasone of the just recur character onBreaking Bad , as he always remained professional despite not always being the best guy wire for the job . Being one one-half of Saul ’s " A - team , " it was always expected that Kuby would show up at some point , peculiarly as Huell - the other one-half of the A - team - has appeared ofttimes throughout the prequel series .

However , it was actuallyplanned for Kuby to give , with Burr go down to reprise the role in season 5 . Unfortunately , Burr could not film these scene due to a end in his family , and the lineament was replaced by Sobchak . Unless there ’s another series , Kuby will always be one of those characters whose history ( and fate ) will stay unknown .

Badger And Skinny Pete

Few characters have made fans laugh more than Badger or Skinny Pete , especially when they ’re together argue aboutStar Trekor some other TV show . Given their sketchy backgrounds and having always stayed put in Albuquerque , it ’s a picayune surprising that none of theBetter Call Saullawyers or other grapheme ever sweep itinerary with the active duo .

And queerly enough , fanswanted to see the duo interact with Marie , and while viewers saw the widow inBetter Call Saul ’s last episode , the two stoners were sadly lacking . Though they did n’t appear in the series , they did return in 2019 inEl Camino , and their scenes were a great send - off for the characters .

Skyler White And Walt Jr.

Realistically , there is n’t any coherent way Skyler could have been admit in the serial . Even the light snatch of rooter inspection and repair inBetter Call Saulstill have a purpose and , at the very least , suggestion at character development . Skyler ’s character bow was all wrapped up at the end ofBreaking Bad , and there was nothing more to expand on .

Similarly , while it would have been fun to see Walt Jr. in the setting , hang around with his friends , there was n’t any means for it to make sense in the show ’s context . However , there is still one head buff still have after theBreaking Badfinale , which is whether Gretchen and Elliot did give Jr. the money on his 18th natal day as ordered by Walt . And that could have at least been answered in the post - Breaking Badscene inBetter Call Saul , even if it was in passing .

Bogdan

Bogdan was a unworthy character and , ironically , though he was n’t a trash principal or any other kind of criminal , he was still the most hat character on the show . The character owned the A1A car wash , which is seemingly the most pop railway car wash in Albuquerque . If somebody has bare business with anyone , they can only wait it out at the elevator car dry wash , and their foe make it eventually .

Some fans even speculated that Saul and Walter might have unwittingly cut across path when Saul pop off to get his machine washed one time . If that was the slip , fans could have acquire to see Bogdan one more time , too . But while that was a smashing possibility , it ’s one that ultimately essay to be fictitious .

Todd Alquist

Though Todd was n’t introduced inBreaking Baduntil season 5 , he was still certainly committing crime up to that point . And as fans saw Ira , the proprietor of Vamonos Pest in the spin - off ’s time of year 4 , a Todd cameo could have been very possible , given that he worked at the pest control party .

AsTodd is the most unsettling villainin the franchise , even more than Gustavo Fring , it would have been fun to see the two share a scene inBetter Call Saul , though it might have seemed forced . Though his decease in theBreaking Badfinale was more than a satisfying enough end for viewers , fan still enjoy see him as the psychotic hatchet man inEl Camino .

Jack Welker

Along with Todd , Jack Welker is another big bad ofBreaking Badseason 5 , and the neo - Nazi ’s history and backstory are hinted at so much in the iconic series that it should have been detailed at least a little inBetter Call Saul . The character has an entire chemical compound full of hidden country , and there must be other things in the compound beside the Quonset hut meth lab , the club , and Jesse ’s pit .

However , just like Todd , Jack had such a satisfying final scene , as he was inject dead mid - conviction just like he did to Hank . And feed that his setup is n’t quite as meticulous and thought out as Gustavo ’s , it might not have been quite as engaging .

Ted Beneke

While the universe of discourse is full of meth heads and two - spot criminals , Ted , a business owner , might be the dumb person in the entire dealership . Not only did he believe that a dandy aunt go forth him the accurate amount of money he had to pay the IRS , but he expend that money on a novel car , and that was after already being in taxation trouble in the past times .

The character never learns , but there was always a fortune that fan could have find his first lesson inBetter Call Saulin a courtroom . Or , as Skyler working in Beneke Fabricators wasthe most authoritative affair to happen before the show ’s head start , their ( workings ) relationship could have been turn over into at some point , too .

Old Joe

It ’s uproarious that Old Joe does n’t have a last name in the series and that his prescribed name is a soubriquet , especially chip in thatBreaking Badcharacters are so well - written and three - dimensional . And in that deference , the character is more of an enigma than anything , and he is in no way underwritten .

Old Joe knows a surprising amount about legal philosophy , which was showcased when Hank tried breaking into the RV without a sanction . That makes it more surprising than anything that he did n’t seem in the procedural law show . However , once again , he did get one last prospect inEl Camino , which was satisfying enough , even if it did n’t explain how he came to have such a vast noesis of criminal law .
