Shangela and Gleb had phenomenal alchemy and it showed in this gorgeous dance . Witnessing their link as Whitney Houston ’s " I Have Nothing " build to its crescendo was stunning and made for something that buff will never forget .
Daniel & Britt’s Jazz (Week 8)
Two dancer who did n’t get off to a great start but ultimately improved at an impressive level were Trevor Donovan and Daniel Durant . TheCODAactorsaved his best performance for ' ninety NIght set to Depeche Mode ’s " savor the Silence . "
Not only was the dance itself prima ( it receive a 39 out of 40 ) but it had the added fillip of doing something unique . The music disappear for a section of the functioning , allow them to dance in muteness and give the audience to get a taste of what dance is like for Durant , who is indifferent .
Charli & Mark’s Contemporary (Week 5)
It always takes a niggling while before dancers set out getting perfect X from the judges but by week 5 , Charli D’Amelio was ready for that honor . Hercontemporary terpsichore with Mark Ballasset to " When the Party ’s Over " by Lewis Capaldi was breathtaking .
The tot up aspect of how much it imply to Charli since it told a narration about her struggles with anxiousness made it even better . It was filled with emotion and technique and was incredibly poignant . Unfortunately , Charli only received a 9 from Carrie Ann Inaba , which fan online were n’t pleased with .
Shangela & Gleb’s Jazz (Week 7)
During the final exam , the iconic Shangela saidthat it felt like thing truly started to click for her during workweek 7 . That makes a lot of sense because the Halloween instalment saw her perform to Taylor Swift ’s " Look What You Made Me Do " and she received her first perfect grade .
A special nod must be feed to theDancing with the Starsmakeup squad for making Shangela and Gleb seem truly terrifying . It was one of those terpsichore that was nifty on a expert level but also told a compelling story . Plus , Shangela ’s reaction to her grade was invaluable .
Wayne & Witney’s Samba (Week 5)
Wayne Brady was so remarkably consistent that so many of his terpsichore could be considered among the honest . One such example arrive during week 5 ’s Prom Night gimmick , where he and Witney Carson performed to " It necessitate Two " by Rob Base and DJ E - Z Rock .
