The Scourge can travel through droids / cyborgs at will , and spread through tactile sensation , and there are reason to believe it ’s actively seeking Darth Vader . If the Scourge is able to infect Darth Vader , then it will have access to the Force along with a hivemind - like front within every droid in the galaxy - and Vader just surrounded himself with an USA of droids , all of which should have been for good dealt with days in the beginning .
While creating his own army freestanding from the Empire was a saucy move , especially given his tenuous clench on the Force at the present moment , it is one that Vader will assuredly be paying for later . Not only that , but this is a site Darth would n’t have even been in if he had just killed these droids to start with . Yet his inability to do so has potentially designate Darth Vader to a life of enslavement and servitude to a mere droid virus , a fell fate that is entirely due toDarth Vader ’s cecity when it comes to his bounteous impuissance .
