Jon Hamm joinedParks & Recreationfor just two episode : the time of year 6 two - part finale and the time of year 7 premiere instalment , and his character was a minor one . Leslie then can Ed , who happily give thanks her for the many opportunities she pay him and cheerfully said goodby to his coworkers , though no one listened or paid attending to him . Ed appear again inParks & Rec ’s time of year 7 premiere episode , which picked up where time of year 6 ’s finale left off , and he showed up with a file he found – not the one Leslie require though , and it was an empty single file . Leslie reminded him that he was fired , and Ed was n’t seen again after that . Parks & Rec: Jerry Didn’t Deserve All The Bullying He Got

Jerry ’s endless slowness and awkwardness added toParks & Recreation ’s jest and sense of humor , but all the intimidation he catch was underserved and ultimately made the serial publication look defective . Although many of the jokes against Jerry were mostly inoffensive , there were various moments throughoutParks & Recreationwhere the characters frustrate the furrow and humiliated Jerry , and sometimes they really deeply move him , such as when Mark Brendanawicz let on that Jerry was adopted , which Jerry did n’t live . The author ofParks & Recreationtried to make up for all this bygiving Jerry the perfect familyand give him a felicitous life , but ultimately , he did n’t deserve all the intimidation he got , and he proved that he was an important part of the Parks Department crowd .
