Even Peter ’s new courting , consummate with a glider designed by Osborn himself , can only slow up the bugbear down instead of stopping them all . On the ropes , Peter is suddenly aided by a figurein favourable armour : the Gold Goblin , Norman Osborn inside an upgraded metallic suit . Like the Green Goblin , the Gold Goblin flies in on a glider , but this character is far more heroic and saves Spider - Man from two villains .
