There have been many intimidating male partnerships throughout the course of the series , but who stands out as the good of the good ?

Zach Nichols & Trey Weatherholtz - Rivals II

On newspaper publisher , Trey and Zach are undeniably a force to be reckoned with . However , they never really dwell up to their possible onRivals 2 .

This duo was on their elbow room to becoming at least be one of the major rival to advance the entire time of year ,   but they wound up accidentally disqualifying themselves in an elimination somewhat early on . It would have been interesting to see them get further in the game though , as they were already prove their abilities from the head start of the game .

Nelson Thomas & Shane Landrum - Final Reckoning

Although Nelson and Shane are a bit of an funny couple , something about this pairing just really works .

They were forced to work together inFinal Reckoningafter not commence along in anterior time of year , but they rapidly ran ahead of the pack and showed that they were one of the warm couple there . They were on racecourse to at the very least make the last had they not been be sick out and then exclude out of the Apocalypse competitor .

Leroy Garrett & Mike Ross - Rivals

While everyChallengefan roll in the hay a formatting where two instrumentalist who ca n’t stand each other are forced to work together , Mike and Leroy ’s fantastic rookie run demonstrates just how much easier the plot can be when contestants fiddle with the people they have intercourse instead .

Adam Royer was kicked off ofRivalsvery early on , and Leroy’sReal World : Las Vegasbestie Mike was his replacement . Despite never competing in the biz before , these newbies made it all the mode to the last .

Cory Wharton & Mitch Reid - Battle of the Bloodlines

AlthoughBattle of the Bloodlineswill never be one ofthe most pop or beloved iterations ofThe Challenge , a few superstar players and squad did come forth from the tepid season .

Cory Wharton and Mitch Reid were one such standout partnership , as these cousins prove that they had the perfect combining of brains and brawniness to become a serious menace to win the gold . Although they fall just short , they had a heavy run , one of the best in Cory ’s longChallengehistory .

CT Tamburello & Adam King - Rivals

While any team thatChallengeGOAT CT Tamburellois on is going to be hard to get the better of , Adam King was actually a reasonably solid competitor in his own rightfulness . These two were really the focal point ofRivals 1 , as the majority alignment was ghost with sending them home .

However , Adam and CT do so well that they were quite unmanageable to institutionalise into the Jungle . And , if Adam had n’t gotten confused during the last liquidation , these two very likely would have won the time of year .

Kenny Santucci & Wes Bergmann - Rivals

hollo Kenny and Wes one of the strong male teams of all clock time might be a bit controversial yield that Kenny could n’t stop DQing during the regular time of year and then Wes had to be carried up a deal by his partner .

But regardless , these two are some of the tough players in the story of the game , and that strength at least got them to the final . Plus , if the massive jumper cable they had on twenty-four hour period 1 of order terminal was n’t cut down to mere minute in day 2 , they would have   definitely win .

Jordon Wiseley & Marlon Williams - Rivals II

contender 2had one of the most competitive fields in anyChallengeseason , especially when it came to the manful partnerships . Thus , the fact that rookie Jordan and Marlon even fought their way to the last is impressive .

They performed well throughout , winning a daily challenge and two Jungles . And while they were both understandably disappointed to be third in the final , the team that stupefy them are some of the greatest of all time .

Johnny “Bananas” Devenanzio & Tyler Duckworth - Rivals

Johnny and Tyler resist out among their fellowRivals 1competitors for a few reasons . Of of course , the obvious is that they were simply very proficient at the game . But secondly , they also worked together nearly flawlessly .

Not only did they become champions of the time of year , but they actually deal to beat CT ( along with Adam ) in a physical riddance , and Tyler come out triumphant despite the fact that he started the concluding with a frightful cause of intellectual nourishment poisoning .

Frank Sweeney & Johnny “Bananas” Devenanzio - Rivals II

Were it not for the staggeringly talented partner pool in this season , most knowledgeableChallengefans would see a duo like Frank and Johnny and assume that , barring any flaky fluke of bad portion , they were closely guaranteed to win the game .

So then , it comes as no majuscule electric shock that they made it all the way to the end and just wander up in second place after an incredibly tight subspecies against CT and Wes .

Wes Bergmann & CT Tamburello - Rivals II

As soon as TJ announced that CT and Wes were going to be partner forRivals 2 , the entire contender was essentially theirs to lose .

Yes , CT had n’t actually won a season yet at this point , but every other thespian was terrified of him because he was such a threat . And then there isWes , who is one of the most well - rounded player inChallengehistory . This is the kind of partnership that manyChallengeviewers dream of seeing , and they truly lived up to their potential drop .
