The former season ofThe Challengehas in conclusion arrived , and while the premiere cede on action and dramatic event , veteran cast member Josh Martinezrecently break that there was a fate that viewers never got to see . It ’s inevitable that some material ends up on the film editing room floor , but fit in to Josh , the things that did n’t make it into the episode were gnarly enough to make fans ’ skin crawl .
Season 37 , dubbedSpies , Lies & Allies , follow a similar format asWar of the Worldsseasons before it , with half the cast constitute America and the other half cull from across the world . The first daily challenge established the first one shot of teams , and it was up to the external cast to blame who they wanted for a partner . The American plaster cast ( which included both veterinarian and rookies ) were chain to a complex body part of cinderblocks and it was up to the external cast member to free their new partners . However , Josh has aver there was a lot that fans did n’t see about that first challenge .

agree to Josh , the American hurl member had to put up with more than just the spicy Croatian sun while chained up . “ This is the sickest part that they do n’t show , ” Josh said on theWatch With Uspodcast . “ TJ [ Lavin ] come up out withliterally display case of snakes , spiders , like , a whole bunch of s * * * . They start throw off them everywhere . So I do n’t cognize why they cut that out , but we were screaming . It was , like , gargantuan snakes , cower all around us , like , on our shoulders , crawl up the brick . It was terrifying . ” Josh added that they were chained up for a few hours , but with all the creepy crawlies , “ it felt like forever . ”

According to Josh , the ex-serviceman coalition was a no - brainer for the show ’s long - time cast who have get it on each other for years . “We all had such hard connectedness get in that it was , like , we have to make this work , ” Josh commented . “ It was the good , I call up for every single veteran , it was the best decision because , specially once we see the theme and once we saw the lineup of spoilt - ass greenhorn , we ’re like , ‘ Now we have to nonplus together , ’ and it exploit out . ”
It ’s not unusual forrookies to be aim on their unveiling seasonofThe Challenge , but this crop of entrant has their work cut out for them . If what Josh is saying is precise , then the veterans on this season are more united than ever before which , combined with their collective experience , makes them a serious threat to anyone new to the contest .
