AsJohnny “ Bananas ” Devenanzio ’s righthand world , Leroy and Cara Maria are often on fight sides when contend on the same time of year . If the former episode is any indication , however , Leroy is switching his loyalty - at least temporarily .
This season ofThe Challengepits major US competitor against competitor and fledgling from the UK . Even though many of the return competitors on the US side are finally playing for the same team , old rivalries and hostilities have interfered in their biz . Early on in the time of year , Johnny Bananas was vote into voiding by his own team , a determination trail byCara Maria and her boyfriend , Paulie Calafiore . With Johnny voted out , his alliance - comprise of Nany Gonzalez , Tori Deal , Jordan Wiseley , and Leroy - was go out without a loss leader . While Jordan cursorily step into the part , their numbers were far outweighed by Cara Maria ’s alliance , leaving Leroy struggling to choose a side that might help oneself him get through the biz .
