While it made sense for Klaus to save her from her first werewolf bite , as he used it as leverage against Liz , she only survived this bite because he feel bad when she admitted she saw honorable in him . This may have been animportant picture for the Klaroline family relationship , but it was just a way for the writers to make believe they were going to suffer Caroline just to undo it all by the last of the episode — a classical case of plot armor .
Tortured By Her Father
In one of the all - time worst moments inThe Vampire Diaries , Caroline gets tortured by her father for being a lamia .
