Vikings : Valhallacaught up with Leif Erikson ( Sam Corlett ) after he unleashed his intimate berserker at the end of season 1 , and the shocking event at the remainder of the first season had an wallop on him , as he was see ( and talking to ) his deceased mate , Liv ( Lujza Richter ) . However , this did n’t last long , and he eventually stopped seeing her – and here ’s why . Vikings : Valhallaseason 2 insure Leif reuniting with Freydis ( Frida Gustavsson ) and Harald ( Leo Suter ) after the destruction of Kattegat , but they part path again not long after as they ran aside from Olaf Haraldsson ( Jóhannes Haukur Jóhannesson ) .

Leif Goes Through A Crisis of Faith In Vikings: Valhalla Season 2
Liv was killed by Olaf during the intrusion of Kattegat atthe destruction ofVikings : Valhallaseason 1 , and during her final bit , she asked Leif to promise her he would meet her in Valhalla . Leif confront his visions of Liv in Novgorod , where he took opium as he was tell that he could let the cat out of the bag to the stagnant if he took it . Leif check Liv again and she led him to the roof of another temple . There , Liv essay to get Leif to go to Valhalla with her by jump off the roof , but Leif understood that he had to allow go of Liv and bear that he no longerbelieves in Norse religion , though that does n’t mean he ’s a Christian , either . Liv did n’t appear to Leif again as he strike on , not just with Mariam ( Hayat Kamille ) , but from Norse faith as well .
